Narrative driven programming

Final work at EHBrussels —

To get kids programming, you first have to make it interesting. If we combine programming with storytelling and a possible dynamic timeline, we might just do that.

The installation consisted of a book and a few markers. The markers were used to start programming, by placing them in the projected spots. The demo video is out of focus, and I've been meaning to re-record it. In order you can see the book being scanned (story selection), the challange being selected, and the green card being used to start the challenge. After this the various cards are used to program steps (including a for-loop) to move the yellow square to the other side of the challenge.
