DIY Video Mapping
Stagepiece mutation festival —
Scope
Quite last minute, I was asked to create a video mapping for the stage pieces present at the mutation festival in ghent. In order to do this, I created short clips of the crew while the festival was building up, and made sure to have closeup videos of their faces.
In openframeworks, I created an application with the three forms as masks, where I could use Syphon to input video material. There were several small settings in the app I could use to adjust the mapping.
